Mixing things up

Times are a changing,

best stay in your hole,

the ratings go up,

a new daily high toll

Will you cough,

and then wobble,

or brave shops,

mask, and squabble

Days are on hold,

be indoors we are told,

as lepers we stay,

just awaiting a day

an innate deep down fear,

that soaks into our psyche,

as our species depletes,

we repeat its not likely

Easter bunnies have been,

we can’t catch myxomatosis,

nor them COVID 19,

least that’s not a prognosis

Times are a changing,

nature has a solution,

always finding a way;

It’s called, evolution.
