I enjoy teaching young people and draw on my experiences in conducting sessions based on aspects of Natural History, including ecology, animal adaptation, taxonomy, conservation biology, and environmental sustainability.
I believe our earliest experiences with nature inspire us to care deeply for it, and that this connection is naturally intrinsic in all of us. Today, we are separated in many ways from the real world, a natural world, which we are all part of and to which we belong, if we can only let ourselves.
It was such a pleasure to recently visit Trinity & St Michaels primary school in Croston Lancs and Rufford CE Primary School in a private capacity with some of my animals and to deliver related environmental education to all the pupils. Thank you so much for inviting me, and I hope you enjoyed the sessions as much as I enjoyed being there!
